Most newsletters fail for one of three reasons: they are written for the sender, they are inconsistent in voice and quality, or they have no clear reason to exist. The sender-centric problem is the most common: the newsletter announces things the brand wants people to know about, rather than things the reader actually wants to read.

A newsletter that works starts with a clear editorial premise: a specific value it delivers to a specific audience on a consistent basis. The audience needs to be able to answer the question "why do I read this?" with something more specific than "it\'s from a company I like."

We build that premise with you before writing the first issue. Then we write in your voice, not ours. The voice guide is built in the first month and used consistently for every issue thereafter.

We handle monthly, biweekly, and weekly cadences. For monthly retainer clients, we include a strategy check-in each quarter to review performance and adjust editorial direction. Every issue is delivered 5 working days before the planned send date.
